The Residence
Our holiday home is situated on a 1.3-hectare plot, 100 meters from the (quiet) road from Alcantarilha Gare to SB de Messines. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a spacious bathroom with a shower and bathtub, a living room, and 3 bedrooms of 12 to 14 m² each (all on the ground floor). In the outbuilding, there is an extra spacious bedroom with a shower, sink, and toilet, which can be rented for a small additional fee. The terrace is partially covered for eating or reading in the shade, and the swimming pool is located alongside the terrace. The garage serves as storage space housing a washing machine, freezer, bicycles, loungers, a barbecue, etc.
Our delightful Quinta da Carron is fully equipped for 8 (up to a maximum of 10) people. Every room has air conditioning/heating.
The Kitchen
The cozy kitchen of Quinta da Carron is equipped with a ceramic hob and oven (convection, grill, and microwave), dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, juicer, pots and pans, bowls, plates and cutlery for 12 people, glasses for wine, gin and tonic and cocktails, water, soft drinks, beer, ..., 2 refrigerators, kitchen towels, buckets and dishcloths and cleaning materials, spices, cooking and serving utensils, small and large coffee cups, tea glasses, etc.
The Living Room
We are proud of our tastefully furnished living room with 1 spacious leather sofa for 3 people, 2 leather armchairs for 1 person, and a double ottoman with 2 single ottomans inside.
Around the wooden dining table stand 6 leather chairs; in 2 bedrooms you will find a spare chair.
There is a flatscreen TV on the wall, uplighters for evening coziness, and beautiful artwork everywhere.
There is high-performance internet everywhere via Starlink; on the Smart TV with TV-Vlaanderen, you can receive all possible channels.
The Bedrooms
! Built-in mosquito netting in every bedroom with wrought iron railings - everything can ventilate safely during your absence.
! Sufficient sockets and power strips are provided everywhere.
- Bedroom 1 with double bed, wardrobe and clothes rack, hanging rack with drying area, bedside tables with reading lamp, chair and mirror.
- Bedroom 2 with double bed, bedside tables with reading lamp, hanging rack with shelf space, mirror
- Bedroom 3 with double bed, bedside tables with reading lamp, hanging rack with shelf space, mirror
- Separate studio with double bed, sofa bed (1 person), clothes rack, mirror, washbasin, walk-in shower, separate toilet.
The Bathroom
The very spacious bathroom consists of:
- a bathtub
- a spacious shower
- a toilet
- a washbasin with a mirror
- a rack
Even during the summer months, there is sufficient pressure on the water.
Hot water is obtained thanks to electric boilers that heat up during the day via the 12 solar panels.
